SOUND WINDOW FOR A UNIVERSE OF SELF-KNOWLEDGE
Percussionist attacks as multi-instrumentalist and records consistent and mature debut album
In his first solo work, drummer and percussionist Luciano Ladeira ventures into singing, playing guitar and drums and reveals himself as a composer with talent and good taste in folk-rock songs.
With special guests of Henrique Migliano on bass and harmonica and Alex Buck on piano, the album has seventies influences and at times refers to bands that, according to the artist, shaped his “musical character”, such as The Who, Supertramp and Renaissance.
Highlight for the opening track “Mama and Papa and Me”, an authentic simple and direct rock and roll, the self-libertarian “Yellow Song” and “Dancing With the Moonshine”, which shows an artist about to bloom and open the window from the soul to a spiritual universe that would later guide his personal and musical trajectory.
